Nat has a significant range of educational and pastoral experiences having worked in single sex and coeducational schools in Victoria, NSW and Singapore. He has previously been Head of Boarding at Newington College, Sydney and a Head of Department at Melbourne Grammar School. Nat has also worked in Singapore at the Japanese International School and at Ava Maria College, a girls’ secondary school in Melbourne. He undertook his own secondary schooling at Ballarat and Clarendon College before commencing tertiary studies at The University of Ballarat and most recently, a Master of Education at The University of Melbourne. Nat believes that education is a process of self-transformation that develops students self-awareness and inspires them to be courageous in their thinking whilst providing them with a framework for empathay and independent judgment. In order to flourish at school, students learn best in an environment that values them as learners, addresses their needs, is respectful, safe and inclusive in order for them to take risks as learners to explore their academic, emotional, social and spiritual potential.
